About my blog
Welcome to my Antarctic blog! As Product Manager for Discover the World's Antarctica & Latin America programme I'm lucky enough to say that my working day revolves around my big passions - ice, snow, glaciers, wildlife and wilderness.
My blog is just one way of sharing my enthusiasm and interesting facts and findings about this amazing White Continent. It’s basically a place where I can tell you all about Antarctica and share my travel tips if you are lucky enough to be travelling ‘down south’ sometime soon.
I've been lucky enough to travel to some amazing places with Discover the World over the past six years, but on 15 December 2003 sitting in the sunshine at Petermann Island (the most southerly point of my Antarctic Peninsula voyage) I concluded that this was the place to beat! Antarctica is even more incredible than anyone can describe – it really is the most heavenly place on earth.
Enjoy and I hope you will share my passion by posting your own comments.
Thanks!
Nikki
